UKC
The US-Korea Conference (UKC), organized by the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA), is a premier academic conference that brings together scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and students from both the United States and Korea. It serves as a platform for academic exchange and strengthened networking. The Chey Institute for Advanced Studies hosts a special session at UKC to explore global trends in science, technology, and industry, while further expanding the scientific and technological cooperation network between Korea and the United States.
Grand Quests
The Grand Quest is a strategic initiative jointly organized by the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies and the Seoul National University Institute for Future Strategy to explore frontier questions in science and technology. The program aims to identify transformative questions—those that have the potential to reshape existing paradigms and redefine the blueprint for our collective future.
COVID-19 Special Webinar
To widely share accurate scientific knowledge about COVID-19, which brought the world to a standstill, and to contribute to overcoming the crisis, we carried out a special eight-part project.
This project explored the biological characteristics of the virus, vaccines and treatments, and other scientific insights and forecasts, while also discussing its impact on the humanities and social sciences.
