CHEY Scientific Innovation Series 12
BioIndustry 4.0: Synthetic Biology and Biofoundry

2022.06.03 14:00 - 16:30

For the 12th iteration of the Scientific Innovation Series, the Chey Institute will be focusing on the overarching topic of Synthetic Biology and Biofoundries. The past few years have seen the field of synthetic biology mature and expand at a notable pace, changing the way we create energy, produce food, optimize industrial processing, and cure diseases. The development of these technologies can be accelerated using biofoundries, which allow us to explore science and bioengineering solution spaces on an unprecedented scale. We have invited leading experts from the United States and South Korea to provide insight into the current development and future of this field.

LEE Sang Yup, Christopher VOIGT, Cho Byung-Kwan, Nathan Hillson, James COLLINS, Minhee Park
